Service Description

Not sure whether you want to make the commitment of setting up your own apiary, want to learn more about bees and beekeeping? The weekend taster is for you! Designed to give you a more detailed overview of beekeeping than our beekeeping experience but not as detailed as our beekeeping course. You'll spend Saturday learning about some of the theory of beekeeping then on Sunday you'll get to build a hive as well as donning a beesuit and going through one of the hives. While we provide beesuits we ask you wear long trousers and wellies/walking boots. Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the weekend but please bring your own lunch!
