Hive5 at Northern Roots
We are very excited to announce our partnership with Northern Roots, an urban farm and eco-park in Oldham. We can now run all of our beekeeping courses, experiences and workshops at Northern Roots, which is fully accessible for everyone.
Hive 5 at Northern Roots is especially exciting because it allows us to expand what we can offer to individuals and businesses, as well as developing a program for schools.
For individuals we can now offer a wider range of education, including group practical courses and theory courses.
Businesses can now adopt hives at Northern Roots or sponsor school visits and workshops.
The Northern Roots charity is creating the UK’s largest urban farm and eco-park in Oldham. Developed for and with local communities, Northern Roots is transforming 160-acres of urban green space into a unique new community asset and vibrant visitor destination.
